General Data Protection Regulations (Compliance from 25th May 2018).

Businesses should be aware of these new regulations and prepare accordingly. Responsible data management and end of life shredding and recycling is essential to avoid new fines of 4% of Global Turnover.

As you may be aware, GDPR states that whenever a data controller  (customer) uses a data processor (Perrys Recycling for security shredding) it needs to have a written contract in place. A contract between us is important to ensure that we both understand our obligations, responsibilities and liabilities and to help you as data controller to demonstrate your compliance with the GDPR. Our GDPR compliant contract comprises the attached ‘Equipment and Service Agreement' face sheet together with our revised terms and conditions and we would be pleased to support you by putting such a contract in place.

Perrys Recycling respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. Our privacy notice will inform you as to how we look after your personal data, however it is collected, including when you visit our website (regardless of where you visit it from) and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you. It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us.
